Our latest news and notes

FEBRUARY 2021: Dr. Jones and Dr. Mullen interviewed Bro. Sammie Berry, minister for Dallas West Church of Christ, related to diversity and racial reconciliation. Here is a segment addressing Black History Month.

JANUARY 2021: Dr. Jones and Dr. Mullen led an online class based on "Diversity God's Way" for Legacy Church of Christ in N. Richland Hills, TX.

NOVEMBER 2020: With COVID19 still limiting activities, especially as churches struggle on the best way to reopen, the authors are busy encouraging conversations in the spaces we live and work. Hopefully as churches plan for classes and small groups to return that "Diversity God's Way" would be a good book to guide discussions about racial reconciliation. Feel free to contact us or order a copy of the book to learn more.

OCTOBER 2020: One of our church's Small Groups is using "Diversity God's Way" as a discussion guide for their Fall meetings.

This is a group of mostly older adults that chose the book on their own.

SEPTEMBER 2020: We have submitted a proposal to present a Breakout session at the Christian Counselors of Texas' Annual Conference in Austin, TX in February 2021. With COVID19, Conference organizers are still working on general details.

AUGUST 2020: "Christian Chronicle" editor Bobby Ross Jr. wrote a follow-up article about Racial Reconciliation in which we are quoted. Here's a link to the article: https://christianchronicle.org/on-topic-of-race-theres-so-much-that-i-dont-know/

JULY 2020: We were interviewed by Bobby Ross Jr., and Chellie Ison from "The Christian Chronicle" about our book. Here's a link to that interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Piu_o4M4cw0

JUNE 2020: We hosted a three-week study about "Diversity God's Way" via Zoom with the shepherds at Legacy Church of Christ, N. Richland Hills, TX, and their wives.
